Community Partners.

The University of Minnesota Duluth Alpine Ski Team for the past 20 years has provided College Student Athletes a high quality ski racing program designed to help each athlete meet their individual ski racing goals. We are a Club Sport program under the UMD Rec. Sports Department. We compete in the Lake Superior Division of the Midwestern Collegiate Ski Association (MCSA) under the national direction of the United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association (USCSA). 

One of our goals as a team is to uphold the traditions of a highly successful, quality, competitive race program and to further advance the sport of ski racing in Minnesota. Achieving this goal year after year and growing our sport comes with a multitude of costs. Currently that burden is mostly on the student athletes. Maintaining a quality program requires much, in highly specialized and often expensive course, timing, and race equipment. Team dues alone are not enough to support this organization and our student athletes. Help is needed.

It is important for our team to recognize the support of businesses and individuals in our community and promote the development of our student athletes in snow sports.

Donations from our partners to UMD Alpine are tax deductible. As we are under the non-profit status of the University of Minnesota Duluth, a 170(c)(1) Government Organization,  all donations are deductible on corporate or personal tax returns.
