Education. I chose UMD because of the integrated
teaching program here and because I have always loved
Duluth! I started skiing when I was 3 and have been
racing for 13 years. My all time favorite race hill is Wild
at Wild Mountain. My favorite ski trip ever was at
Whistler Blackcomb in BC. I love skiing in the mountains
just as much as I love racing.
Vice President Grant Madison

chosen. I have ski raced since I was a kindergartner and
I’m probably way better than you (easy way to fit in on
the team is call someone out like so). My favorite place
to ski is in the Canadian Rockies. Can’t wait to see all
the new and returning faces for one more great season!

My major is criminology and I picked UMD
because I had a sister going here and I have always
enjoyed the north shore. I started skiing when I
was pretty young since my whole family would go
skiing together, but it was only when I was a
freshman in high school that I started racing. Out
of all the places I have skied at I would say Grand
Targhee is my favorite resort due to the snow
conditions they get and the style of the resort.
